Creating vCloud Environment using Workstation

Hi

Has anyone created a vCloud Environment using VMware Workstation?  I would be interested to see how much 'doubling' up it is possible to do i.e Install SQL Server onto the Virtual Center VM...

Thanks

You can do this but you need to follow this guide to virtualise ESXi http://www.vcritical.com/2011/07/vmware-vsphere-can-virtualize-itself/

We run a vCloud environment within vCloud as a vApp for testing etc. As far as I know the only complexity was that we had to enable promiscuous mode for the port group which the virtual ESXi VMs are attached to.

In terms of doubling up you should be able to run most stuff along side. You could install vCenter with the the local databse option which installs SQL Express I think..
