Cloud Director cluster without NFS

Wondering if the above is an option, using the guidance on moving NFS shares you can technically do away with NFS. I don't allow customers to create or import VMs, the portal is really just there for management of existing workloads that the tenant has access to along with Tenant App for performance metrics. Workload VMs are built by the provider and the automation is behind the scenes and the VMs are moved into the tenant folders to get picked up by vCD and I don't see that process changing.

So with that said could the data on the NFS share be copied to the vCD nodes and the mount point removed without impacting future upgrades or any other form of administration in vCD?

Thanks

NFS is required for VCD. You can use compact NFS mounts if your transfer storage needs are limited.

It is not possible to deploy VCD without NFS, at least for now.
