Cannot find host to deploy vShield Appliance for network Internal

Hello,

These days i have upgrade vsphere from 4.1 to 5.0 and also upgrade vshield to 5.0. vcd from 1.0.1 to 1.5. But i met a issue that cannot use fence function.

I have installed the license for vshield edge.

If i didn't use fence, i can start vshield app; I remember that we don't need do something to enable vshiled except license.

Please see erros from attached screenshot.

Is that mean i need to manually configure vshield edge? I have tried but failed. Or i need to change network configuration?

Hi,

Is your vShield Appliance still linked to your vCenter Server? Can your vCenter Server communicatie to the vShield Manager? Can you vCD cell connect to the vShield Appliance?

I have configured that in vshield manager, did i need to configure on vcenter? Also i have reconfigured vshiled manager from vcd.

Can your vCenter Server communicatie to the vShield Manager?

What is your meaning?

Can you vCD cell connect to the vShield Appliance?

How to check?

Actually the question is, can all the servers see eachother in the network. So vCD <--> vCenter <--> vShield. Just use ping from you vCenter Server and ping on your vCD host to check if connections are available....
