Can rdms be used in vCloud Director?

I am using vCloud 1.5, on top of vsphere 5.0 with ESXi 5.0.

I have a guest that needs a lot of storage space, 4T for working space and upwards for storage space.

I was going to present the storage directly to the guest as a pRDM.

Would I be better to have this system just on vSphere?  Is presenting the storage directly to the guest going to cause issues?
Are there any suggestions as to a better way to approach this?
