I noticed in the vCAT 3.0 documenation package, under:
Appendix D > vCloud Director Upgrade Considerations: Phase 1 Process: Upgrade Advantages
There's a line that mentions "Support for Google Chrome browser".
That conflicts with the VMware KB page for supported browsers in VCD 5.1 @ http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=203455...
That said, I'm assuming the KB article should have authority on the subject, but was just curious if anyone's tried out Chrome with 5.1, and had the familiar old browser support warning thrown at 'em.
Chrome still displays the browser support warning with vCloud Director 5.1 ('Warning: This browser will not work with vCloud Director. The vCloud Director Console requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or higher or Firefox 3 or higher').
You are correct that the KB is authoritative in terms of supported browsers.
