Backup and Restore

Hi All,

I was wondering how people are addressing the Backup and restore in relation to cloud director?

So for example if the oracle DB fails or gets corrupted and we have to restore, then won't that cause issues with the restore no longer being in sync with the VCenter configuration/DB?

Anyone know how VMWare is addressing these issues?

regards.

Here is an interesting article about backup the vcloud vms,

http://blogs.vmware.com/uptime/2010/09/backing-up-and-restoring-vmware-cloud-director-provisioned-vi...

but you are talking about the DB, in this order i suggest you to make two or more oracle agent based backups in your DB server, and in this job maybe you need to syncronize this with the Backup job of the vcenter sql database.
