vSphere compatibility

Is there any compatibility between the vSphere API and the vCloud API, obviously under the hood they appear very different but abstracted up to the

API level are there compatiblities that could make for a transition as oppose to a complete rewrite of code that used to use vSphere and now would

like to use vCloud?

None at this point. As you note, we have built them for different uses and contracts.

And I guess more to the point; can one use vCloud API in a vSphere installation yet?  Or never?
