How to Set VM Name During vApp Instantiation

Hello,

I am trying to set the name of a VM during instantiation of its parent vApp from a template. Note, I know how to change the name of the vApp itself, just not it's child VM. The requirement to have this set during instantiation is so the machine name in vSphere matches up. Can anyone direct me on how to do this? Thanks.

Hello,

in v0.9 of the API there is no way to change the VM name on instantiation. One way to do that is using compose operation, however in 0.9 of the vCloud Service Director you are also not able to change VM even if using composition.
