vm alarm for VDS Changes

Running a shared platform for internal and dmz hosts/guest vms.  It is a requirement that in order to have this logical separation that we monitor the dmz hosts for changes to the vm network adapter.  Our configuration is that we have two uplinks to our production environment on a compute dv switch and then a mgmt. dvswitch for nfs, vmotion, and host management.  Our goal is that the virtual guest will alarm if someone attempts to put a guest on the mgmt. vds at any given time.  The goal is to have the machine immediately powered off and a email notification sent out.  We are able to alarm, shutdown, and send a notification on vm reconfiguration.  If we setup the condition VDS Name equals DMZ_Mgmt nothing happens. Does anyone have any thoughts on alarms in this situation?

Thanks
