vcsa webbrowser datastore file download problem

Hi there

I tried to download a ....delta.vmdk file from the datastore via the html5 webbrowserinterface of the vcsa and the the download option of that folder in the datastore.

I selected only the file I wanted to download and then started the download.
The download startet but did not just download that 1024KB file but something else too. I stopped the download at 250MB downloaded.
In my understanding the download / the downloaded .zip should only have a size of more or less of that delta.vmdk file.
Or am I wrong there?

To my knowledge, html5 does not show the flat.vmdk files and I suspect its downloading the flat.vmdk files (real data vmdk). I may be wrong as well. The delta.vmdk or .vmdk files may be descriptor files and not the actual data disk, the downloaded file is possibly a data disk.

That would explain that all the flat.vmdk are shown as 1024KB size.
