vcenter identity source change

Hi all,

I need to change the identity source of several vcenters from local to active directory, it is already configured juts need to set it as default but I'm wondering if there is any impact when doing this change? should I snapshot the vcenters before or is there anything else that I need to do in order to change to AD authentication? or just set it as default and that's it?

This is vcenter 6.5

billyjoel,

Changing from local to AD authentication is a failsafe option and you should not need to do anything in order to rollback. The only difference when you set it to default is that the user can now logon using username instead of username@domain.com or domain\username.
