Hi,
we installed with vcenter 6.0 U2 appliance and the SMTP configuration failed to trigger email.
Meanwhile VMware KB says - VMware KB 2063147 vcenter appliance not accept SMTP authentcation service.
I have followed Sending email from the VMware vCenter Server Appliance after configuring an SMTP relay gateway fails... and Emails sent from VMware vCenter Server Appliance are rejected (2073849) | VMware KB
