vSphere Replication - 500 VM's limitation

Hi,

based on the vSphere Replication FAQ, there is a limit of 500 protected vm's per an appliance.

my question:

can i use multiple vSRA Appliances registered against the same vCenter and by doing so, replicate 2000 VM's (as an example)

Thanks

Hmm

I was told you can't since every appliance registered against the same vCenter will overwrite the one that registered before it

Thanks
