vCentre - does it need a dedicated virtual server or can it share an application server?

Hi

Does vCentre need it's own server - virtual or physical or can I install it on an existing application server (Sophos endpoint Management and WSUS)?  I know I would need to increase the memory.

Has anyone experience of this?

It depends, I would recommend to have it on a separate server for containment and performance reason.

You would want to have the vCenter highly available.

I recommend a VM for running your VC. Unless its a really small setup, the recommendation is to keep VC on a separate machine.
