I'm running into an issue with vCentre 6.0u2, adding a third host on vSphere 6.0u2 in which I add the local IP address across our Inter-office VPN network that is reachable with no firewall or port restrictions at (for example) 10.1.1.1, the other end of our IPSec VPN tunnel is 192.1.1.1 where the host is located, and when I add the host to vCentre using 10.1.1.1 it stays online for about 30 seconds, before changing the IP address of the host to 192.1.1.1 and then showing as not available.
10.1.1.1 is the host's IP address, 192.1.1.1/30 & 192.1.1.2/30 are the end point address of the VPN tunnel. The vCentre server is at 10.2.1.1 in a different office, where the route would be 10.2.1.1 --> 192.1.1.2 (VTI) --> IPSec VPN Route --> 192.1.1.1 (VTI) --> 10.1.1.1 Does anyone know why it would be changing the IP after adding it to the VTI address?
I've noticed if I use a DNS address for it, it stays online and doesn't change, but if I use the IP address, it changes and then shows as disconnected.
Any help would be appreciated.
