vCenter with ROBO Design Guidelines

I am looking for some design guidelines with regards to add a ROBO (Remote Office Branch Office) deployment to an existing vCenter Standard deployment in our data center. Does best practice say we should deploy a second "datacenter" within vCenter for our ROBO hosts and group them by "cluster" for each physical site? Or should there be a "datacenter" for each physical site?
