we had a query regarding vcenter vapp database.

Can i create snapshot of vcenter vapp?

would this snapshot be db app consistent?

is quiesing of db done if we take quiesced snapshot?

You can create snapshot, it will be crash consistent, and the DB will quiesce provided you have up to date VMware tools in that VM.

I am having the similar query...

I have deployed the vcenter vApp.

Read the KB regading running of pre-squeeze/post-thaw scripts from /usr/sbin.

My custom scripts are not running when I take snapshot.

VMware tools are up to date.

I have the execute persmission set for the script.

Can you please suggest what might be an issue here ?
