vCenter upgrade 5.5 to 6.5

I am trying to upgrade vCenter 5.5 to 6.5 and getting below error:

Error: Unable to fetch or parse VC URL from vCenter ServiceInstance!

Are you using any custom port in your vCenter installation? Can you confirm the value of the following registry key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware VirtualCenter\HttpProxyPort

And can you confirm if your vCenter is really using that custom port 8089?

If you are talking about:

1. VmwebServicesURL: it is set to 8443

2. VmAPIURL : 443

3. WebService.ports.http :8089

4. WebService.ports.https :443

5. Config.vpxd.sso : 7444 (single sign on)
