Is your Inventory Service installed correctly and pointing to SSO? You need to do inventory service before doing Vcenter Service
Ah sorry i got the error while installing inventory service
Hi,
I think SSO is not installed properly.Thre might be several reasons.
1) Try to access the following URL through browser (https://<ssohost-name:7444/lookupservice/sdk>).it should able to load a xml file.Then sso is working fine.
2) Both Machines(SSO,VC) date and time should be sync.
ok thanks
i will try if i coudn't access on https://<ssohost-name:7444/lookupservice/sdk what can be the source of problem
i install SSO and invetorry service on the same host
There might be database problem.we can not reuse database for sso.If you are installing fresh sso, then you should always use new database.
Just restart the SSO service then try, some time it happens because it does not sync the time during installation.
Is this a fresh VM or host? Do you have any other applications running that might be using the same ports?
i'm ussing vm host and no other application uses the port
What if you give the IP address instead of the SSO FQDN?
https://IP_Address:7444/lookupservice/sdk
i will try tomorow now i haven't access thanks
have nice day
Thanks its works
i installed vcenter inventory service and vcenter SSO , but when i want to install vcenter server i had this storage error but 79G on disque M i think it's enough
<snip>
You must have 245MB free on the destination drive for installation of the program, and you must have 315MB
free on the drive containing your %temp% directory.
</snip>
But me i have a disk with 79G , how can i reduse %temp%files
thanks
%temp% by default would be the C:\ drive - local temp for the account you are logged in with.
C:\ drive just shows about 100 MB free
You might have to free up about 1 GB space from your C:\ drive and then try
so thanks i will try tomorow i don't know how to thank
really ur advices are very helpfful thankssssssssssss
Just checking whether freeing up more disk space in c: drive helped?
hi a_nut_in
how are you
To run several vApps simultaneous with the same IP and MAC addresses we use NAT and proxy ARP what is the role of NAT
Thanks
NAT gives you a private non routable IP address.
e.g
192.x range in you host environment that might be on a 172.x range
