Hi,

Regarding the first issue, I would allow some time for vSphere Web Client to initialize, may be few minutes. For the 2nd & 3rd issue, you have to create an Identity Source to add your existing domain credentials and login using the domain account. The following KBs and docs would help you:

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=203551...

vSphere 5.5 Documentation Center
Chek section Identity Sources for vCenter Server with vCenter Single Sign-On

Hope this Helps !

For Adding the vcenter in to the domain you have to login into webclient using administrator@vsphere.local and go to SSO configuration. Select your AD that you have added and make it default domain. Once this is done the AD should appear under the dropdown menu.

I have the same problem with the 5.5 Web Client spinning and spinning when I select the vCenter object in the inventory while logged in as root. (I use the vCenter VA).  It now has been spinning for over 20 minutes.  Any ideas anyone?

What is the inventory size? VCVA resources(Memory and RAM)? try to restart web client service and retry the same operation and see if it works.

Thanks,

DJ
