vCenter not responding to requests

I just finished an upgrade from 5.5 to 6.5 and everything appeared to go fine but I now can't access anything of vCenter. I go to the URL it provides for me in the installer and nothing. I tried pinging the server and nothing. I check the ESXi host and it shows up fine even shows the same IP as the installer. What the heck is going on here?

I get this at the bottom of the installer showing it worked right

from the explanation it looks like you are using vCenter appliance.

as you are not able to ping the server, what do you see in the VM console for the appliance.

can you access the console and check basic N/W connectivity.. ping the Gateway , DNS resolve etc..

go through the linked KB and try to restart the services if the network is fine.
