vCenter in DR Site for SRM

I have just finished my upgrade to vCenter and ESXi 5.5 and now I'm looking to deploy a second vCenter in my DR site in preparation for SRM deployment.  Can someone point me to a configuration or best practices document?  I'm not sure if I need to do a linked mode vCenter installation and how I need to handle the database.

Thank you for your help,

Natalie

Yes, you're right.  You'll stand up a new vCenter Server instance which will include its own database.  During the install, you can create a Linked-Mode group.  Then you can manage each vCenter from a single-pane-of-glass.

You don't *have* to have Linked-Mode when running SRM.  It's nice, sure. But it's not a requirement.  Of course, since SRM requires one vCenter at each site, you'll need one vCenter database at each site, as well.

Edit:

Here's an online doc to get you started.

and the vCenter database

Currently I have my second site added to my one vCenter server. If I'm reading this correctly I will create a new database for my second site and install my vCenter server in linked mode, move my hosts and VMs to the second site vCenter but I will be able to manage them in one vCenter because of linked mode.  Right?
