vCenter fault-tolerance and NetApp snapmirror configuration

If I have NetApp in snapmirror is it possible to configure vCenter to have fault-tolerance (2x servers)? Since vmware fault-tolerance duplicates data across two storage nodes. Is it possible to enable vmware fault-tolderance on a single storage node (virtual IP), if the storage node has it's own duplication process? If so, how would one go about implementing the process?

Hello,

Scenarion 1: NetApp in snapmirror is it possible to configure vCenter to have fault-tolerance (2x servers); Yes, this is Possible. Scenario 2: vmware fault-tolerance duplicates data across two storage nodes. Is it possible to enable vmware fault-tolderance on a single storage node (virtual IP), if the storage node has it's own duplication process? Yes, this is again Possible. FT can be set using 1 storage node. For more information on  How to configure FT, see https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.5/com.vmware.vsphere.avail.doc/GUID-02E5849B-6B02-453E-A.... Additionally you can also use SRM with NetApp snapmirror to secure your Data during DR.
