  • 1.  vCenter as guest VM on Hyper-V vs ESXi

    Hello,

Question might be odd, but long story short, I have ESXi host for my VDI environment that will scale, is there anything wrong or will I lack of any functionality if I run vCenter as guest VM on Hyper-V (different host). Reason is we are all Hyper-V environment and I don't have money to change immediately, but I would like to save my ESXi host for Horizon 7 and VDI instances, thus I would like to run vCenter on some other host machine. I know it is suggested to run as VM on ESXi host, but is there anything wrong with what I am trying to do?

Considering the vCenter application part, there should not be any problem if it is installed on a Windows VM that is running on an Hyper-V host.
