Are you using Single Sign On 5.1 or 5.5? In 5.1 it should be called VMware Single Sign On. In 5.5 there are several subservices and SSO does not have a database anymore.

Yes because only 5.1 has a single "Single SIgn On" service.

In 5.5 this one service was split into several services. Namely VMware Certificate Service, VMware Directory Service, VMware Identity Management Service and VMware Secure Token Service which are all installed on your machine Smiley Happy

But as you are using Single Sign On 5.5 it does not make sense to move a Single Sign On database, as the database is gone and was substituted by VMware Directory Service which essentially is an LDAP service hosting the data from the database and more.
