Hi , in my vSphere environment vCenter Server 6.7 run on ESXi 6.0 that I cannot upgrade , because the hardware is very old and not supported , and it manage an ESXi 6.7 U3 cluster hosts.
We are planning to upgrade to 7.0U2 , and I know that vCenter Server does not support ESX 6.0.
My question is : can I upgrade vCenter Server run on ESX 6.0 host or I have to move it before on ESX 6.7 cluster ?
Thanks in advance.
Maurizio
Hi Tartassa62
The vCenter Sever appliance will probable run on older version of ESXi but it's not supported so I would move it the ESXi 6.7 cluster so everything will be support.
VCSA 7.0 can only be deployed on ESXi 6.5 or later. So please get your cluster up to 6.7 first.
