vCenter Server Migration from windows 5.5 U2e to appliance 6.0 U2m is failing using Migration Tool

We are trying to migrate our windows 5.5 U2e vcenter server to vcenter server appliance 6.0 U2m using Migration Tool but the process is failing with attached error.

We are using an external database Microsoft SQL 2012 standard SP2 version 11.0.5058.0.

We are using embedded topology and not trying to change the topology of vcenter.

We have opened a Support Request with VMware and they are working with their Research team to find out the cause.

Any ideas on fixing the issue will be much appreciated.

From the error message it's clear that appliance size is the issue.

What is the appliance size that you selected while deploying?

I think selecting the next appliance size will resolve this issue.

Sorry i forgot to mention, Appliance size we are selecting is Large (1000 hosts &10,000 VMs) with Large storage 900 GB (can't go beyond that) and tried with different datastores having more than 2.5 TB of free space.
