* and I see on prerequisite on Database as below:

Database Type

Configuration Notes

Embedded PostgreSQL

For vCenter Server 6.5, the bundled PostgreSQL database is suitable for environments with up to 20 hosts and 200 virtual machines.

Important

If you use the embedded PostgreSQL database, uninstalling vCenter Server on Windows, uninstalls the embedded database, and all data is lost.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 or higher

Ensure that the machine has a valid ODBC DSN entry.

Microsoft SQL Server 2012

After you complete the vCenter Server installation, apply the latest patch to the Oracle client and server.

================================================================

My Question is if i would to use vCenter Server Appliance 6.5 for Large platform, Can I use with ProgreSQL embedded Database or not? or I have to integrated vCenter server appliance with external Database?

one more thing, regarding to external DB, beside Oracle and SQL  server, Can I use with MySQL or ProgreSQL (external, not embedded one) instead?

Thank you for all of your values advice.

For vCenter server 6.5 Larger platform, you can't use embedded PostgreSQL database, you have to use SQL server std or higher or Oracle database.

There is no provision to use external DB other than MS SQL and Oracle. All in all either you have to use embedded PostgreSQL or external database of MSSQL and Oracle.
