vCenter Remote console Access (NAT issue ?)

Hi everyone,

I have trouble accessing my VMRC through vCenter web client.

My network config is as described under :

my desktop LAN (let's say 192.168.1.50) -> Firewall -> my server room (let's say 10.1.1.0/24).

both ESX and vCenter are in server room.

To access server room, it's done through NAT (ie to access my vCenter true IP 10.1.1.10 I acces from my desktop to 200.1.1.10).

When i access the remote console trough vSphere Client (so directly connecting to ESX without using vCenter) it works (the console log shows that i'm connecting to the NAT address).

When i want to access a remote console trough the web interface, the console log shows to it tries to reach the REAL adress of ESX instead of the NAT one.

I hope i made myself clear enough to get some answer Smiley Happy

Is it fixable or is there a parameter that I'm missing in vCenter to make this configuration work (I made research all morning without finding any clues).

Thanks in advance and forgive my approximative english.

I finally find out myself...

I guess, the fact that posting here made me think differently !

Solution : add host with DNS names in vCenter instead of IP adresses then the VM consoles works correctly.
