I have been looking for a few days now on good support documents to help with an inplace upgrade from vCenter 6.5 on a windows server. to an appliance.
Mostly concerned about the following 3 issues. some have better documentation than others. but for the sake of someone else finding this post with the same questions... here are my concerns.
1. We have a sizeable Content Library created with several templates for windows deploys as well as host templates. will these migrate over to the appliance?
2. We have orchestrator installed and running a few simple tasks for us, will I lose any of the config for this appliance?
3. Lastly, does update manager still require a SQL backend?
