vCenter Appliance 5.5 failed to update FQDN even after certificate regenerate procedure

Hi,

I was trying to update my vCenter 5.5 to 6.5. During pre-check script gives error "The vCenter Server Appliance FQDN testvca does not match the configuration of the vCenter Server certificate."

I looked for the fix in vmware community and followed below KO (2110772) but still few certificates FQDN is not changing.

/usr/lib/vmware-sso/conf/ssoserver.crt ,

/usr/lib/vmware-vpx/extensions/com.vmware.vim.inventoryservice/ssl/inventory-service.crt ,

/usr/lib/vmware-vpx/inventoryservice/ssl/rui.crt and /usr/lib/vmware-logbrowser/conf/rui.crt -text

VMware Knowledge Base ("vCenterServer FQDN Source_vCenter_Server_Appliance_FQDN does not match DNS servers" error when upgrading from vCenter Server Appliance 5.x to 6.0 (2110772))

From 5.5 you can upgrade only to 6.5U2. To what versions are you trying to update?
