vCenter 8.0 install fail on the first stage, stuck at 0%

Greetings,

So I am trying to install a vCenter 8.0 on a ESXi 7.0 Update 3, but I am stuck at 0% when installing

There's no advance, it just gets stuck at 0%, and then it times out after like an hour attempting to install

I have tried installing version 8.0.0 and 8.0.a and got the same result

I have verified that the DNS entry exists and NTP settings on the host are right

Attached to this case you can find the logs given by the vCenter install, located on the folder "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Temp\8\vcsaUiInstaller"

greetings, found the issue

the issue was related to the license of the ESXi host that was unable to support the vCenter service

After updating the license on the ESXi node, the install process was a breeze

thanks!

Have you provided the correct IP or FQDN of ESXi where the vCenter is planned to be?

Never saw that NTP could cause such issues.

Check in DNS if PTR record exists.

I have reviewed the entries and the DNS A record and PTR do exist, the NTP on the host is right

I have tried setting the FQDN or leaving it empty as its optional and both options don't work

Thanks for the help though
