You can check the Photon OS version and build number, with this command:

/etc/ photon-release

Please run this command: cat /etc/photon-release

Sample output for reference

root@vc [ ~ ]# cat /etc/photon-release

VMware Photon OS 3.0

PHOTON_BUILD_NUMBER=49d932d

root@vc [ ~ ]# vpxd -vl

VMware VirtualCenter 7.0.0 build-16386335
