I am trying to upgrade my 6.7 vCenter appliances to 7.0 and it has failed 4 times now requiring me to start over and deploy the 7.0 appliance again. The issue is the size of the default export directory. I give the upgrade wizard a custom export directory with enough space but it still shows the default space and fails. I tried mounting the default export directory I found online on a larger partition and it still shows not enough space and fails. What is the default export path for 7.0 upgrade? Anyone know why it won't accept my custom export path of /storage/tmp3/vmware/cis-export-folder which is the path suggested in the KB articles for this issue?
Not sure about the path that you mentioned, but I usually use /storage/updatemgr which usually has enough free space, and does not require extra configuration steps.
