vCenter 6.5 Recent Task view is showing "Invalid Date"

On the new vCenter 6.5, under "Recent Tasks", the column "Start Time" and "Completion Time" both show "Invalid Date".

Anyone seen this, is it a bug or "only" in our enviroment?

Hi Zamphyr,

I have the same issue but only in the html5 web client. In the Flash Web Client all fine.

It would appear this is a known fault in the HTML5 client which has been fixed in the latest fling for previous versions of vCenter - vSphere HTML5 Web Client - Bugs

I guess we will have to wait for the fix to be integrated into the vCenter 6.5 device / Windows package (fix not present in the distro as of 18/4 - 6.5.0.5500 Build 5318154)

As I just commented in the Fling comments:

Not sure if this is a frequently asked question (is there a FAQ?), but would it be possible to have an update mechanism that allows more adventurous vCenter admins to enable a specific yum repository on their VCSA and then update the "vSphere Client" from there, "out of band"?
