vCenter 6.0 - Can not mount ISO from local to VM

Hey

In my vCenter 6.0 Test environment, i noticed that i can not mount a local ISO File to a VM.

vSphere 5.5:

vSphere 6.0:

Can please someone check, if this option is still available with vSphere 6 or has been removed?

Hi, have you already open a Support Request?

I took a look into the documentations from v5.5 & v6 . The part with "mounting ISO files" is in both the same.

Hopefully VMware know that issue and will fix it soon.

Its seem like a issue I could see the same in my test environment too.

Go ahead and file a support request as suggested before.

I think VMware has released a KB on this issue:

VMware KB: Unable to edit virtual machine settings to connect to CD/DVD image on a local disk in vSp...

Looks like we need to use the VMRC now...
