So I am trying to deploy the VCSA appliance 6.0.0-7040641 from a DISA v10.2.0 Windows 10 Enterprise Machine that is fully pre-stigged. (I have also tried this with 6.0.0-5326177) with same results. Each time I get a manifest does not validate error and it stops.
- So first I researched and removed the white spaces from manifest file using 7zip which just gave me a "cannot find ovf file at beginning of ova" - so i went back to clean image
- I disabled McAfee Enterprise Virusscan and made exclusions for the locations of the vcsa file -same does not validate error and stops
- Then I moved to a baseline windows enterprise machine (non-stigged) and tried - i get same "manifest does not validate" error but it continues on and deploys!
So does anyone have any hints of what to adjust in the Local Group Policy and settings that would make this fail in a SHB setup?
