vCenter 5.5 U2 & Ms SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2?

Hi!

Does anyone know if vCenter 5.5U2 & SRM 5.8 support Ms SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2. According to "VMware Product Interoperability Matrixes", Ms SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 & Ms SQL Server 2014 is supported. Anyone using 5.5U2 and/or SRM 5.8 with Ms SQL 2012 SP2?

The reason I ask, is that I have some issues with the SRM, and it looks like it have to do with read&write to the database. vCenter uses the same database server, and has no issues.

Regards,

Rune

As per vCenter server 5.5U2 release notes latest supported is Service Pack1 . Hence Service pack 2 is not supported on vCenter 5.5 U2.

Refer: vCenter Server 5.5 Update 2 Release Notes

We will have to wait for support on SQL server service pack 2 (may be until next update or major release.)

Refer: SRM 5.8 release notes here :VMware Site Recovery Manager 5.8 Release Notes

Any idea on when VMware might support SQL 2012 SP2?  It's been out 9 months now and our DBAs want to get to a current SP for SQL.  I checked the Product Interoperability matrix and even the just released vCenter 6.0 doesn't show as supporting SQL 2012 SP2 which seems strange since it was just released.

Thanks,

Bob
