I observed the following difference in behavior between vCenter 5.1 and 5.5.
I logged onto the vCenter server using vSphere web client. I clicked onto one of my extension actions and was able to load the view successfully. While the view is in session, I restarted the vCenter Server. This resulted in "NotAuthenticatedFault" error as expected.
While on vCenter 5.1, when i encountered the above problem, I had to simply relogin back using the vSphere web client (after the vCenter server was restarted).
However for vCenter 5.5, only after restarting the vSphere web client service the problem goes away.
Is this an expected difference in behavior between 5.1 and 5.5 for the above scenario?
