vCenter 5.1 Upgrade

Currently I am running vCenter 4.1 on a physical server, specs;

Processor: 1x Intel Xeon @ 1.86 GHz (Quad Core)

The requirements for vCenter 5.1 is at least 2 Ghz.

Is it stil possible to run vCenter 5.1 on this physical machine without upgrading the CPU?

Welcome to the Community,

although the 2 GHz CPU speed is listed as a minimum requirement (btw. this has also been a requirement for version 4.1, see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1022101) I don't see an issue with your quad-core CPU and I'm not aware of any speed check of the vCenter Server installation.
