So, if I am remote desktopped to my vcenter then the Performance Overview displays just fine, if I install the client tools somewhere else I get the 'navigation to the webpage was cancled joyful error'

One thing that is interesting to me is the server.xml ( C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\conf )

Could this be restricting it to local traffic only? I've tried changing to 0.0.0.0 but still no joy with client tools on a different box.

What is interesting to me is that nothing is listening on port 8005, but the other ports are listening.... gah
