vCenter 5.1 Health Status Changed Alarm

I have a vCenter server that occationally throws up a Health Status Changed Alarm (going from green to red) but I can't figure out what it's referencing.  I've looked through the vms, hosts, and plugins and can't find any other alarm that might have tripped that could be causing it.

Does anyone know what it's referencing?

Thanks,

Matt

Go ->vCenter Home -> Select vCenter health status and see if there is anything in red or yellow

ok got it...everything is fine but I saw that Update Manager bounced itself.  This changed the Health Status Changed Alarm to red but even when it came back it never cleared that alarm.

I wonder if it's a bug?

Thank you for your help.

How frequent the service is restarting ? Is it happening automatically ?

Alarm will not not clear automatically we have to do it manually.

This time it was Update Manager (status changed from green to red then red to green in the span of a few seconds), which caused the vCenter alarm to trigger.  I saw this alarm get tripped like two weeks ago but couldn't find that fault then.

good to know that the alarm won't clear manually, thanks,

Matt
