vCSA 6.7 Enhanced Linked Mode Maximum Limit Related Inquiries

In the relevant url, the maximum number of ELMs that can be connected to one vCSA is known as 15. (based on Embedded PSC type).

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.7/com.vmware.vcenter.install.doc/GUID-4394EA1C-0800-4A6A...

Is it the recommended value? Is it a limit value?

It will still let you add more vCenter servers, however you might experience issues in near future. For ex: Slowness, inventory search issues, data replication issues, etc.

It can run in a test environment, however not recommended for production setup.

That's the tested limit.

Hi,

Thank you for response

Here's how I test it. More than 15 vcsa are joining testvc01. Currently, 16 vcsa have been joined

root@testvc01 [ ~ ]# /usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/dir-cli nodes list --login 'administrator@vsphere.local' --password 'PASSWORD' --server-name localhost
Node: testvc01.test.lab
Type: PSC

16

The build version is as follows

root@testvc01 [ ~ ]# vpxd -v
VMware VirtualCenter 6.7.0 build-13639324

Is the test method wrong?

Thank you for your answer.

It was a test to check whether distribution could not be performed if the number exceeded 15.

Thanks for any help.
