setup ntp server on vcenter server base windows 2008 R2

Hello all,

I wish to setup a NTP server on my vcenter server (vcenter server is windows 2008 R2).

So all ESXi host can use this NTP server

p/s: vcenter server is NTP server and ESXi host is NTP client.

You can basically use any time server for ESXi as long as it's not a virtual machine running on the ESXi hosts which synchronize the time with it.

yes, my vcenter is a VM, vcenter can update time with the internet.

I want when i update time on my vcenter, the ESXi host can update time with vcenter too.

If I understand you correctly, you already have your Windows server setup as an NTP client correctly, and would like it to supply NTP server services.

This is a matter of enabling the service with two registry keys. They are documented here:
