reservation for fault tolerance VM

I'm trying to start a VM in fault tolerance.

Whatever I put in the original VM memory reservation, after the FT on and I go to VM settings, I see a 1024 mb memory reservation.

I read that vSphere auto-add a reservation equals to the amount of the VM memory.

The parent of the VM is a basic cluster of 2 esxi hosts.

If I start the FT vm I see this :

"Insufficient resources to satisfy configured failover level for vSphere HA."

I see this even with an original 500 mb memory VM.

With the original VM set 300mb memory, I can turn on fault tolerance and it will work.

Is it a reservation setting in vSphere HA that I can make higher ?

It's actually te esxi hosts VMs that needed more memory.

In Workstation, I've set the esxi hosts to 8gb instead of 4gb.

Now it works. It's swapping, but it works.
