reconnect esxi host back to the vcenter

The license for the esxi host expired, which caused the disconnection. I did disable vmotion. But when I tried to reconnect to vcenter, I still got the message saying that I need to remove vsphere motion and vcenter agent for vmware host. What did I miss?

Would you please advise! Thank you!

The evaluation license which comes with every fresh installation expired as expected.

You need to buy a license or get a free VMware Hypervisor license and assign it to the host.

I already added the license key but somehow when I reconnect the host to vcenter, it wont let me. But anyway, after I removed the host from the vcenter and then re-added it back, it worked.
