I assume that vCenter is a virtual machine, which is stored locally on the host with the defective SD card!?
Reinstalling a host will not affect the VMs (unless you explicitly force it).
Once installed, do the required configuration (networking, etc.), then register the locally stored VM's. If vCenter is one of them power it on.
Note: If you are asked whether the VM has been copied or moved, select "I moved it".
