"The console has been disconnected" when using web console to connect to VM's (VCSA 6.7.0.11727113)

Periodically we get the following message when connecting to VM consoles through the web console:

The console has been disconnected.

Close this windows and re-launch the console to reconnect.

- We can close the window, restart the browser, flush the cache in the browser, etc.  Doesn't matter.

- Even when web console fails VMRC works.

- We CAN connect through web console to those VMs if we go directly to the ESX hosts.  So I know it's a VCSA issue.

- If I do a "service-control --stop --all" then a "service-control --start --all" the web console works again.  So, again, I know the issue is with VCSA.

- I can duplicate this across multiple VCSA servers in multiple environments.  This is not an isolated problem.

I have 4 questions:

1. Why is this happening and is there anything I can do to avoid it?

2. If I have to restart services, which specific service(s) could I restart versus restarting them all?

3. If I have to restart services, can I set up a cron job?

4. If I set up a cron job will it be persistent across reboots or will VCSA wipe it away?

Thank you

Hi all,

We do have the exact same problem...

Migrated from 6.5 (Windows-installation) to VCSA 6.7 U2c one week ago.

The web console seems to to work since.

I have found the following error in the vsphere_client_virgo.log when a new web console connection is established:

[2019-08-26T08:54:19.094Z] [ERROR] https-jsse-nio-9443-exec-9 org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol

Error reading request, ignored java.lang.RuntimeException: java.net.SocketException: Network is unreachable (connect failed)

Any help appriciated...
