dear professionals
I tried to connect web client to vcenter server but i couldnt, yes i logged in successfully via web client but i cant see my vcenter!!!
I was told to register the vcenter with the web client but i dont know how to do it.
On the internet they say in order to register the vcenter use this: https://127.0.0.1:9443/admin-app, I tried this but i got an error ( see the picture please)
Also they say you register the vcenter with web client using vSphere Web Client Administration Tool, I dont know where to find this tool, i couldnt find it on the internet, where can i downloaded from?
Please help me.
thank you very much
Which version of vcenter are u using? If it's 5.5 the admin app is no more there. You will be able to see vcenter if you login using administrator@vsphere.local in vcenter 5.5.
hi Abhilash
yes i use vcenter 5.5
but why people say on the internet you must register the vcenter with vsphere web client?
also, yes i logged into vcenter via web client using administrator@vsphere.local BUT I still cant see the vcenter server on the page??
the web client page shows an error which says ''Could not connect to one or more Vcenter server systems:
(please see the pictures) where ''win2008-vcenter'' is the server which hosts vcenter and ''naoufl2.com'' is the domain.
Even i logged in locally as an administrator user but i still cant see my vcenter server inside the web client page.
As you can see from the pictures, I cant create anything unter the Inventory section. i cant even right click on any item...
please advice me
thank you very much
Can you confirm if the vcenter server service is running? If it's not please start it and try again.
