i want to activate nfs in vcenter and i enabled both (Enable storing log files on NFS) and (Enable storing core files on NFS) but really i dont know the ip of nfs server since i used vcenter appliance and i install all servers on my laptop as a lap.

Your hosts and vCenter servers are not NFS servers. You have to setup your SAN to be an NFS server or create a VM and load something on it like freenas.

In the vSphere client, click on one of your hosts, then click on the configuration tab, then click on storage and it will show your the ip of the mapped datastores using NFS.

Looks like you do not have any datastores mapped to any NFS servers.

Are you trying to figure out what your NFS server IP is so you can map a datastore to it? If so, is your NFS server a SAN?

i tried many times to create NFS but it ask IP and Folder name ,when i put any IP for my hosts or vcenter it refuse

Sever IP is expected on this is not of any vCenter or ESXi host. You need to setup NFS server first and use that NFS server IP and mount points (folder names) there.

You may want to work with your SAN admin to get NFS server up and running. Once it is up, then you can add NFS mount point as datastore on ESXi hosts.

Check the following .

1. Ensure the option ' Mount NFS read only' was not checked while adding the NFS datastore.

2. You must also ensure that the vSphere host has root access to the datastore. This is typically done on NFS

servers using the no_root_squash option in the /etc/exports file. Di!erent storage vendors have di!erent

methods of enabling this functionality.
